Congratulations Julie and Stash!!!

Julie and Stash got married September 6, 2008 during Tropical Storm Hanna. Sadly we didn’t get to shoot outside much and I was so excited about the location. The wedding was held at Stoney Creek Farm near Hagerstown. What a beautiful Location (when it’s not raining).

The ceremony was going to take place outside at the gazebo but had to be moved under the reception tent. Luckily it wasn’t a hard rain and I was able to get some beautiful shots of the bridal party crossing through the rain at the beginning of the ceremony.    

They were such a happy couple. It was such a pleasure to photograph them.

 

Julie and Stash are a fan of more artistic work so I did a couple special shots for them.

They had a pig roast at the wedding. Stash being a free spirit had to take an shot with the pig.

Guys if your still looking for your future bride these girls are still single!!!

It was such a fun wedding. I can’t wait to see them again when they come to pick up their proofs.

Upcoming Bridal Show at the Martinsburg Mall

On Sunday October 12, 2008 from 11am to 5pm at the Martinsburg Mall there will be a bridal show. I will be attending as a vendor so stop by and say hello. At my booth you can sign up for a chance to win a FREE engagement session. Each person who signs up will also be emailed a FREE PDF file wedding planner. I haven’t decided on a show prize yet so if you have any suggestions I’d love to hear them. I’m also trying to think of a small gift I could give to each bride who visits my booth as a thank you for visiting. Any suggestions there are appreciated too.

I’ll be doing more shows too. Two in January and one in February. As soon as I have more info on them I’ll let everyone know.

There is another show this weekend. I’m not attending this one but here is the information:

Visit Day Javu Today!!!

I did product shots for Day Javu last Friday. Dana the owner is a very fun and spirited woman who you can tell loves what she does and loves her customers.

The product she is selling is called Kufs. She will be launching a website soon. The profit will be donated to charities to help women who are or have been in abusive relationships. Day Javu is located at 123 N Queen St. Martinsburg WV 25401. They take clothing donations of women’s clothing only. They also carry a nice stock of shoes, purses, jewelry, hats, and much, much more.

Congratulations Laurie and Roland

Laurie and Roland were married on August 30, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Martinsburg. They are a very energetic couple and full of love for each other.

The window light shot of the back of the dress is a shot I love to do and always looks beautiful.

 

At the reception the whole family did a dance that was the highlight of the reception. They had practiced the dance for a couple of weeks. Everyone loved it.

Laurie and Roland decided to do the special moment and see each other before the wedding. We fixed the train on Laurie’s dress then invited Roland in to see her for the first time. I took a few shots then slipped out the door to give them some privacy. It was a wonderful moment.
