Last year, over 32,000 people in over 900 locations around the globe
participated. This year, we want each of you to invite your friends, family, and even
strangers to take part and help us make it the biggest and best one
What is a photowalk, you say? It’s a social photography event where photographers get together (usually in a downtown area or trendy section of town) to walk around, shoot photos, and generally have fun with other photographers.
Does it cost money? Absolutely not! Once again it’s free—there is no fee to join this year’s Photo Walk. If you love photography, come and have a ball!
Do you have to be a professional photographer? NO! Everyone is welcome, even your grandma with her cane camera. If all you have is a throwaway camera or phone camera, come anyway and have a blast.
The date of the walk will be July 24, 2010. There are several locations to join the walk and participate. I’ve joined the Leesburg Walk if you want to walk with me!

I had the privilege of shooting a wedding for Stash and Julie last year and they are wonderful and fun people. They have a really cool business called Dog-Gone Walking of Hagerstown. Any wedding couple who plan to go on a honeymoon will find their service very useful. Here is what Julie had to say about her business:
Our goal at Dog-Gone Walkin is to offer pet owners full-service, top quality pet care in an environment that is pet friendly and convenient. We are dedicated to showering you and your pets with the care and attention all loved ones deserve. Dog-Gone Walkin strives to accommodate all your needs and be that extra helping hand and loving friend in your pet’s life. We offer daily visits for your pet, which include walks, feedings, play times, or just good company, depending on your needs. We also offer Pet Waste removal services so you and your family can enjoy a nice, clean yard.
At Dog-Gone Walkin, we offer the best quality pet care service. As pet lovers, we understand the unique place our best friends hold in our hearts as companions, confidants and comforters. They are members of the family. When our pets are not with us, we want comfort from the knowledge that they are getting the same loving care and attention that we give them at home.
We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for you and your best friend.
Don’t forget to wish them a happy 1st anniversary this September 6, 2009. It’s coming up soon !!!

Congratulations Angelia and Roger, your my first booking of 2009 and your wedding will probably be the first one I shoot this year on Feb. 14, 2009 Valintine’s Day. Unless of course someone else sneaks in ahead of you. I met with them Jan 1. the first day of the new year. Things are looking good for 2009.
I’m still pretty busy even with no weddings this month. I have 6 wedding album orders to work on and the reprint orders keep coming in. I have two bridal shows to prepare for and I hope to see all of you there. The first one is the Blue Ridge Bridal Show on Jan. 18, 2009 from 12-4pm. I have free tickets for brides who are attending so let me know if you would like one ASAP and I can send one out to you. The next show I’ll be in will be the Martinsburg Mall Bridal Show on Feb 8, 2009 from 11am-5pm. This year they plan to have a celebrity attending, no word on who that will be yet. The shows should be a lot of fun and I’m sure they will be giving out a lot of FREE stuff. Everyone likes free stuff. So don’t be shy stop by and say Hi.
