Jeannie and Aaron, building a bridge of love!

I haven’t blogged in a while so I’m a little behind. I’m going to attempted to catch up on my August weddings this week, but I make no promises.

Back on August 2 I shot the wedding of Jeannie and Aaron who both live in San Francisco and met in graduate school working on their masters of Architecture. They got engaged on a rocky cliff at sunset in Baja CA while on vacation and decided to get married on a cliff at Cacapon State Park. They designed and built a huge bridge structure to span over the alter area of their ceremony and I think it turned out great! It was a little iffy if they were going to be able to put it up since it kept raining on and off the whole weekend. I’m so glad that they did get to put it up I know it was really important to them.

Back From Vacation

I’m back from vacation and I had a great time. We went to the Outer Banks and rented a house in Duck. We spent most of our time at the beach and did some shopping and alot of sea food eating.

We ate at Carolina’s Seafood Buffett and it was really good. I wish I had a bigger belly.

This is the seagull that visit us every day. We named him Jonathan Livingston seagull and he loves ranch potato chips. Not sure if it’s good for him but he loves them.

These little crabs were everywhere to and they were so funny to watch.

We also went to the lighthouse of America. My legs were sore for two days after climbing all those stairs.

Here I am scared to death climbing back down. I’m afraid of heights but I didn’t let that stop me from making it to the top.

We ate at the Sunset Grill and drank alot of bushwackers to get this set of monkey mugs. My husband loves them.
