Congratulations to my newest clients Mary Kay and Pranas. They are planning a wedding October 31, 2009 in Berkeley Springs. How spooky! I can’t wait Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I’m sure it is going to be a wonderful wedding.
Kim and Chris were a great couple. I did their engagement session at their home so they could include their dog children. The wedding was held at St. Peters Church in Shepherdstown right next to Shepherd University. The Reception was at The Clarion in Shepherdstown WV. They were such a fun relaxed group and I love that Kim had a brides man. I’m all about having fun and breaking tradition.
Jana and Jason are such a cute couple as you can see below. They met through a blind date that was set up by Jana’s matron of honor Amy (who also happens to be a past Crouse bride as well). They were married November 22, 2008 at Asbury United Methodist Church located in Charles Town West Virginia. The reception was held at The Clarion in Shepherdstown West Virginia. Both Jana’s dress and Jason’s Tux came from The Barn located in Inwood WV. All the beautiful flowers came from Bells and Bows in Martinsburg WV. The cake was made at Sheila’s Sweets in Winchester VA. The entertainment for the reception was provided by D & M DJ Service in Hedgesville WV. The couple also rode in a Limo to the reception provided by Winchester Limo Service.
They say opposites attract and in this case it’s true. Amanda, the city girl and Mike, a country boy, were married November 8, 2008. They were introduced to each other by a friend and the rest is history. Their ceremony was held at the First Baptist Church of Inwood and their reception was at the Berkeley County Fairgrounds. Amanda got her beautiful dress at J and B Bridal and Mike got his tux at Cape Cod Tuxedos. The food was provided by Big Daddy’s Catering and the wedding cake was made by Roxanne Woodward.
I just booked LaDonna and Nelson’s wedding today and am so excited about shooting it. It won’t be until Sept 5, 2009 so I have a few months to get to know them better. LaDonna is friends with one of my past couples, Jenny and JR whose wedding was just a few months ago August 23, 2008. Some of their wedding images were posted in an earlier blog so check them out. I just want to say thanks for choosing me and I can’t wait to create tons of beautiful images for you.
I had a lot of fun with Wendy and John. They had a very small wedding with about 12 guests at the George Washington Hotel in Winchester VA. Let me tell you I love this location, what a great place for a reception. I espeacially loved the door man, what a great guy. I wish I could remember his name. I got to spend a lot of time shooting with the couple since there wern’t a lot of family shots to do which was a treat for me. Below is just a little taste of the images we created together.
Congratulations Angelia and Roger, your my first booking of 2009 and your wedding will probably be the first one I shoot this year on Feb. 14, 2009 Valintine’s Day. Unless of course someone else sneaks in ahead of you. I met with them Jan 1. the first day of the new year. Things are looking good for 2009.
I’m still pretty busy even with no weddings this month. I have 6 wedding album orders to work on and the reprint orders keep coming in. I have two bridal shows to prepare for and I hope to see all of you there. The first one is the Blue Ridge Bridal Show on Jan. 18, 2009 from 12-4pm. I have free tickets for brides who are attending so let me know if you would like one ASAP and I can send one out to you. The next show I’ll be in will be the Martinsburg Mall Bridal Show on Feb 8, 2009 from 11am-5pm. This year they plan to have a celebrity attending, no word on who that will be yet. The shows should be a lot of fun and I’m sure they will be giving out a lot of FREE stuff. Everyone likes free stuff. So don’t be shy stop by and say Hi.
